THE WHY
- Pandawa Agri Indonesia (PAI) is the first life sciencebased company from Indonesia and the only company that had innovation in pesticide reduction products (pesticides reductants). Pandawa Agri has been committed to realizing sustainable agriculture by reducing pesticide residues while maximizing the potential of farmers. In the journey to achieve sustainable agriculture, Pandawa Agri collaborates with various parties, not only practitioners in the agricultural sector but also other entities that act as policymakers. In the future, Pandawa Agri has the desire to have an impact in terms of policy, especially in begins to advocate for policies at the national level. Public Policy Officer will be part of Government and Strategic Policy team and have a role to documenting all initiatives at the smallholder level to become policies.
What will you do
- Responsible to create a related brief on pesticide residue uses policy, in Nagekeo Regency (PPAI Technology)
- Responsible to create a related brief regarding the issue of pesticide residues on Cabe Merah Besar (CMB), in Banyuwangi Regency
- Responsible to create regent regulations regarding pesticide residues and Good Agriculture Practices in Nagekeo Regency
- Responsible to create regent regulations of low pesticide residue, in Banyuwangi Regency
- Able to draft cooperation agreements (PKS) for strategic stakeholders and partners in smallholders
We are Looking for those who :
- Bachelor’s degree in political science, law, social science, or a major in any field
- Have the experience to advocate policy in local government or national government
- Willing to be placed in the Banyuwangi/Remote from the Java area and occasional domestic travel.
- Good communication skills with the government or any stakeholders
- Able to make policy briefs or draft regulations at the regional and national levels will be preferred
- Familiar with agricultural issues
