Government Partnership Officer at Pandawa Agri Indonesia
Currently, Pandawa Agri Indonesia (PAI) is starting to implement opportunities to develop smallholder initiatives in the Banyuwangi area. Our current smallholder initiative focuses on rice which is believed to be a trigger for the expansion of PAI’s mentoring ecosystem (PPAI technology) in Banyuwangi.
PAI’s smallholder initiative aims to make millions of farmers more prosperous by increasing the productivity of their crops through PPAI technology sustainable agriculture practices. Collaboration between the private sector and government will create acceleration to achieve this prosperity, so we need a team to work with the local government.
In this role, you can face many challenges in terms of internal and external communication especially to governance or stakeholder, you must adapt quickly to dynamic conditions, challenge you to continually learn new things, and encourage you to keep growing with the Government and Strategic Policy team.

What will you do?
- Work closely not only with the local government but also with civil society, and local champions
- A good understanding of the local government system, the government financial system, and public policies will be your daily learning goals.
- As this smallholder initiative is a new thing, your initiative and sociopreneur soul will make it succeed. Last but not least, a commitment to zero fraud is inevitable.
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in political science, law, social science or a major in any field
- Have experience to advocate policy in local government or national government
- Have good communication skills with the government, farmers, or any stakeholders
