The WHY
The majority of smallholder farmers in Indonesia don’t know what to do with their yield. Usually, they save a bit for their daily needs and sell the leftover to the middleman. Worst, they pawn their yield below-average price so that they can assure the yield can be sold.
Besides, it becomes more challenging if they live in a rural area, like farmers in Nagekeo, East Nusa Tenggara. Low productivity, limited information, technology, and connections make the hell circle infallible.
PAI has a smallholder initiative that aims to make millions of farmers more prosperous by increasing their yield productivity and quality through our sustainable agriculture practices ‘PPAI technology’. Moreover, we want to create a closed-loop system that can assure the upstream, which is the quality is in the best shape for customers while assuring that farmers will have market certainty and fair trade.
Do you have the desire to do this life-changing work?
As a supply chain and production leader, you will manage post-harvest processing as your daily digest. A buyer that will be responsible to the farmers has a fair trade. As a QC that will assure the yield and grain quality is on their best quality.
